    OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Kade Bell, Jacksonville

    Bell led Jacksonville to a 20-14 victory at Delaware, Saturday, for its first season-opening victory since 2010. He completed 25-of-43 passes for 269 yards and had eight carries for 28 yards for 297 offensive yards. Bell got Jacksonville on the board first with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Andy Jones in the first quarter. It was the first-ever win by a PFL member against a Colonial Athletic Association member.

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Danny Leach, Dayton

    Leach finished with two interceptions, including one he ran back for game-tying return touchdown, in Dayton’s 27-24 victory at Robert Morris, Saturday. With RMU leading 10-3 in the third quarter and deep in Dayton territory, his 93-yard interception return for a touchdown tied the game. Leach’s second interception came on the first Robert Morris possession after Dayton took a 27-24 lead. He finished the day with four tackles (two solo), added a pass breakup and a fumble forced on a kickoff return.

    SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
    Josh Lee, Drake

    Lee was responsible for 12 points in Drake’s 44-30 victory against William Jewell, Saturday. He made all three of his field goal attempts and converted 3-of-4 PATs. Lee made two field goals in the second quarter, including one as time expired, to help Drake grab a 13-3 halftime lead. He would tack on a 24-yard field goal late in the third quarter.
